Home Remodels & New Construction

1. Discovery & Collaboration

For remodels and new construction, we ideally engage early in the planning process. During this initial planning phase, we meet with the client to explore the scope of the project and discuss project goals, budget and timeline.  We want to gain a deep understanding of your style preferences and how you want your home to feel and function.  We then collaborate with the architect and build team to review the project plan and drawings.

2. Visual Design & Presentation

Next, we go back to the drawing board to create and present design boards as well as 2D and 3D drawings for each space. We assist with your cabinets, flooring, tile, lighting, hardware selections, paint colors and millwork along with the smaller details that have a big impact on a thoughtfully designed home. Upon approval, we prepare a spec book and finish schedules for the builder.

3. Construction & Project Management

Once product has been ordered and construction begins, we monitor the construction site regularly to ensure everything aligns with the design plan. We provide you with updates until completion of the project. During the construction phase, we start to discuss plans for furnishings and window treatments if desired.

Kitchen & Bath Remodels

Often times our clients prefer to focus on their kitchen and/or bath, instead of a whole home remodel. In this scenario, our process is similar to the steps above, but on a smaller scale. This is one of our most requested services and we partner with our trusted builder and trades to help you achieve the kitchen and baths you have envisioned for your space.

This service starts with an initial consultation where we will discuss your design goals. We will create vision boards and select finishes and materials for your approval. Once the space plan and materials are agreed upon, we provide technical and scaled drawings for the remodel team.

During the construction phase, we will conduct onsite visits to ensure everything aligns with the design plan. 

Furnishings

Whether it’s a small project or a large project, one room or an entire home, new build or an existing space, our Furniture Service can provide great value. As designers, we know where to splurge and where to save and how to incorporate beloved existing treasures with new furniture selections.

Throughout the process, we provide you with 3D renderings, electronic room boards and detailed proposals for each space. Once all selections are approved, we handle the ordering, custom fabricating, receiving and installation.

Accessorizing & Finishing Touches

Our Accessorizing and Finishing Service is the final layer of thoughtfully curated pieces that elevates a house to a home. Whether it’s shelf styling, adding statement pieces and art, or accessorizing with pillows and throws, it’s these final touches that create a cohesive design.

If you have been working with us on a larger project, this phase is the “Big Reveal” where we like to surprise our clients with items we know they will adore. If you are a new client requesting this service, we work with you to help create that final “wow” factor, while maintaining cohesiveness throughout.
