Being a contractor’s daughter, Karen grew up with the motto …“a finished product we can both be proud of” which has been engrained in everything she does. While she started her early career in the business world of Marketing and Human Resources, she decided several years ago to exit that industry, go back to her roots and pursue her passion of construction and design. She headed back to school where she became a Certified Designer, Allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers, and hasn’t looked back!

After working in many different facets in the design industry, including one of the Top 10 Homebuilders in the country, Karen decided to enter the world of entrepreneurship and helped create and grow a design firm in Arizona. Expanding her horizons and applying her love of creativity, coupled with her business expertise, she is now the Founder and Principal Designer of Design Guild Studio based in Scottsdale, Arizona. She truly enjoys working in collaboration with clients to help them transform their house into the home they have always envisioned.
